Personal TV Schedule 9-4-10

College Football Week 1

Football is here, Pitt-Utah was excellent Thursday night and unfortunately the Arizona thrashing of Toledo wasn't as satisfying I had hoped.  As I wait until the best Monday Night Football game of the year, Boise State vs. Virginia Tech, it's time for the first Saturday of the year.  So I'm going to give you a glimpse of my personal viewing schedule.

12 noon to 3 p.m.
(FLIPPING CHANNELS): Miami (OH) at Florida, LA-Lafayette at Georgia, Samford at Florida State, Western Michigan at Michigan State, and Illinois vs. Missouri

To be honest, nothing in this time slot really excites me because there is no good match-up (though Illinois/Missouri is probably the most even).  I might focus more on the Georgia game simply because my co-workers are going to the game and I might catch them in the crowd, who knows.

3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
GAME OF THE WEEK
Appalachian State at Chattanooga
The Mocs rarely get to be on TV, they start the 2010 campaign at home against the #3 (FCS) ranked Mountaineers in what everyone hopes to be a sold out stadium "WHITE OUT" crowd.  Unfortunately do to religious reasons I can't personally go, however that doesn't mean I can't watch.

6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m
Tennessee-Martin at Tennessee (maybe)
According to ESPN3.com this PPV game  is on the schedule, don't know if my IP address will be restricted or not.  I'll find out.

7:45 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Oregon State vs. Texas Christian at Arlington (primary)
LSU vs. North Carolina (secondary from 8-10)
Cincinnati at Fresno State (secondary 10-11)

The Beavers-Horned Frogs match-up seems to be one of the best of the entire day and should be a good game.  The Tigers-Tar Heels game went from being the game of the night to just plain wacky with what's going on at UNC.  And I really wished the Bearcats-Bulldogs game would be starting earlier because this have very good game potential to it.
