Personal TV Schedule 11-06-10

College Football Week 10

Well this week is a little weird because both the Vols and Mocs won't be on "regular" TV, at least in my area.  First the Vols travel to Memphis and will be on CBS College Sports, which I would get on my TV if I added the sports package but considering how much I would really watch the channel it wouldn't be worth it so Big Orange on the tube this weekend as Tyler Bray as his first start.  Second, the Mocs travel to Auburn to play the Tigers in Chattanooga annual "Kick Our Butts For Cash" game that essentially pays for the program.  Unfortunately for the Mocs they saw their five-game winning streak come to an end at home against Elon because of turnovers and now we're facing a National Champion contender for the second year in a row, for the record Auburn fans we lost to Alabama last year and guess what they went on to do "wink, wink."  On top of not seeing either one of my top two teams, the TCU-Utah game isn't scheduled for the Chattanooga area so I can't see that game and I'm wondering if I should just not watch TV this Saturday, until mid-afternoon...

12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m.
Baylor Bears at Oklahoma State Cowboys

Of all the early games this is the only one that really grabbed my attention and so I'll have this on in the background and if the game is pretty good I'll focus my attention to it.  The Bears have to be one of the five best surprises of the year and the Cowboys are doing better than expectations as well.  Both teams are in contention for the Big 12 South Division crown and so this game is an elimination game with a game against the Sooners to go for each team.  This one has a lot of promise to it.

3:30 p.m.-7 p.m.
Hawaii Warriors at Boise State Broncos

While Baylor-OSU is fighting for a division crown, Boise State is fighting for a shot at the BCS National Title game and at home they face a team that has already hurt their chances.  About a month ago now, Nevada travelled to Hawaii with the expectation that the Wolf Pack would be undefeated when they faced the Broncos at the end of the year BUT then the Warriors upset the then #24 ranked Wolf Pack and by doing so turned the WAC upside down and hurt the Broncos SOS.  Now Hawaii comes in looking to score an even bigger upset while the Broncos look to continue their march to a BCS, and hopefully national title, berth.

8 p.m.-11 p.m.
Arizona Wildcats at Stanford Cardinal *maybe*

To be honest, I might not be watching any football Saturday night or this game could be on in the background while I do other things, like checking the score of the Vols game or listening to it on the radio.

That's all for this week, come back next week to see my personal viewing schedule or leave a comment about what you're going to watch this week in college football.
